It looks like Vogel checks most of the boxes for what we are looking for. Hopefully he can bring in a good offensive assistant as I feel the last part of last year showed some potential for our team to be offensively great.

I just hope that Vogel doesn't do a Billy Donovan on us.

Im just going to hold on any emotions until I see this finalized and I hear it from him.

Love this from CBS

"The Magic wind up with the best coach to manage both development and short-term interests of playoff contention. After Scott Skiles' stunning resignation last week, the Magic came out big winners with Vogel, who is a considerable upgrade on all fronts."

Kahpyaaaaa!!!

@daldridgetnt Frank Vogel’s deal with the Magic is four years, approximately $22 million, per source. Same per year salary as Portland gave Terry Stotts.

@WojVerticalNBA Sources: Magic are hopeful to retain top assistant Adrian Griffin on Frank Vogel's staff, but unclear how Griffin will proceed.

he obviously likes this job.

I'm from northern Illinois. The winters there are brutal. I used to vacation in Florida in the winter and never wanted to leave. I moved here because I had an opportunity to make the same good money that I was being paid there, and no state income tax. Larry Bird was a great player, but a loose cannon as a boss. This was an easy decision for him. Put on your sunglasses folks cause the future looks bright.
