I think this run is due to unfamiliar lineups and rust from a week off. But, the offense is flowing, we just need to pick up the 3 point line defense. But, we know this scheme is vulnerable to 3's.

 

Smith and Ilyasova have to get on same page.

 

Jennings looks fine. Very few players in this league can stop penetration or stay in front of quick guys. The rules are also set up to give the offensive player freedom to go anywhere. Your help defense and defense at the rim are most important because nobody stops penetration consistently alone. It's wishful thinking. We just want to at least make them change direction. That is all we can reasonably expect. No straight line drives.

That run was just one team getting really hot. Yea our defense was bad but it's rare that a team, other than maybe the Warriors, will make you pay that badly for sub par defense.

 

They won't shoot like that in the second half. Were going to win.

It's scheme, Watson not really being ready, ilyasova not being great at rotating, and Dallas just hitting a ton of tough shots. Team still looks good though

Watson isn't really ready but I'd rather get that rust out of the way sooner rather than later.
