I'm just throwing ideas out there. My thought is the Blazers are terrible (15-24) and need to reconsider their roster. Fournier and Harris would provide them with two starters, while we would acquire a shooter who can create his own shot.

Don't just think of bad teams. Think of teams that are just starting the rebuild and what kind of things we were looking for when we started our rebuild.

 

Phoenix, Denver, Brooklyn, Lakers, New Orleans, new York, maybe Milwaukee.

 

Look at guys who are 27 or 28 and not going to be around when the team turns things around.

 

That's why Danillo Gallinari gets a lot of noise on the trade market.

Pro:

 

better offensively (capable of doing this: http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201504100DEN.html)

great shooter (might provide enough spacing to move frye to the bench and Gordon into the starting lineup)

can basically slide into Harris' role right now (i.e. doesn't use up a ton of posessions)

Draws a lot of fouls.

 

Cons:

marginally worse defender than Harris (not that harris is some great defender either)

4 years older than harris

You lose some rebounding with him vs harris

Playing at his ceiling right now where Harris hasn't entered his prime yet

injury concerns?
