Top 10 Backcourts in the Modern Era

According to this article, ESPN ranks Penny/Nick as the 8th best backcourt duo in the modern NBA.

 

If we were making a list of the best backcourts now, where do you think the Magic would end up? Top 10? Bottom 10? Middle?

 

ATL -- Teauge/Korver

BOS -- Smart/Bradley

BKN -- Williams/Bogdanovic

CHA -- Walker/Henderson

CHI -- Rose/Butler

CLE -- Irving/Shumpert

It's funny, looking at this list it's really underwhelming to me. Payton/Dipo is a different kind of back-court but I don't think it's a stretch that they could be a top 10 duo next year. A lot depends on if Elf can improve that shot some and if Dipo can be more consistent.

Nope. I just know that when they were making their push, they were one of the best backcourts in the NBA behind 1+2

 

I don't know why the really? is there. Should they be flipped? Advanced?

We have the same top 3. I can't argue with most of those rankings or where Payton/Dipo are. Seems about right.
