Adam_Magic 56 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/46637/200706...ixes_deal_to_boston/ The agent for Minnesota Timberwolves star forward Kevin Garnett told ESPN yesterday that Garnett is not interested in playing for the Boston Celtics . ESPN reported that a proposed trade was pulled off the table when Garnett made it clear he did not wish to play in Boston. ESPN, citing sources, said Garnett and Troy Hudson were to headed to Boston in exchange for Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff, Wally Szczerbiak, Sebastian Telfair and the fifth pick in next Thursday's draft. "The Boston trade isn't happening," agent Andy Miller told ESPN. "If a trade were to happen, that's not a destination that we're interested in pursuing." bhnole 153 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 Ouch, that has gotta hurt for Boston. Don't understand it either, KG and Pierce would be tough together in the East.
Marc Acres 3:16 418 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 They would have been tough but I didn't see them winning a title. How far have the Celtics fallen, they have players saying they have no desire to play in what was title town.

Marc Acres 3:16 418 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 LOL! Hey here is some more painful info for Celtic's fans, per the Arizona Republic (via hoopshype) PHX could go after Garnett by working a 3 way deal with Boston including Marion. The problem is that Marion said through his agent that he will not go to Boston. Garnett and Marion both said no way. Sucks to be a Celtic right now.

But hey! Here comes Danny Ainge, Doc Rivers, and Brian Scalabrine!
