Suns declined their option on Wesley Johnson.

 

Amazing how that kid was arguably one of the better players in his class and now he won't even finish out his rookie deal. Piss poor work ethic.

Why? James Harden isn't THAT good. Kevin Martin right now is as good a scorer if not better. They get Eric Maynor back who people forget was taking minutes from Westbrook before he got hurt. Harden was going to take a playmaking backseat anyway. Oh, and they also got Lamb and two lottery picks so....

Martin is in no way better than Harden. I hate that guy so much, he is one of the top empty stat guys in the league. But he'll expire after the season and it saves OKC money, so it works for them.
