I know it "feels better" and all without it, but really, isn't it worth it to give up a little sensation for the sake of your bank account, let alone being in charge of when you start a "family?" His last contract year was our Finals run that suckered the Raptors into throwing money at him. My hope is goes off so we can trade him at the deadline for more assets to re-build with.
