That will mean empty seats in the new Amway Center and no additonal revenue from playoff games. Since he's still paying Gilbert $20M and paying SVG not to coach, a 2012 nonplayoff team will lose a lot of money. This is just something I've put together after reading several reports. Generally these things have escalators where if its not transferred by a specific date then additional compensation is included. Usually a second round pick. I.e. 2013 lotto pick; if that pick is not in the lotto it becomes a 2014 lotto pick; if that pick is not in the lotto it becomes a 2015 lotto pick... Suh weet asset.
