Wizards vs Magic 1/4/12 7 pm

Recommended Posts

"The league's lone winless club next has the difficult task of trying to end a six-game skid to the Magic (4-2). The Wizards have given up at least 100 points in each of those losses, and another such performance might lead to another defeat as they're scoring 85.2 per game this season."

"Washington has dropped 14 of 17 in this series, including three in a row on the road by at least 25 points each. The Wizards, 6-33 in Orlando over the previous 19 seasons, were 3-38 in road games in 2010-11 and have lost three this season by an average of 15.7 points."

Orlando vs. Washington in 10-11

McGee averaged 5.5pts, 3.8rbs on .39% shooting and only 19 mins a game.

Howard averaged 27.3pts, 11.5rbs on .76% shooting

Howard destroys McGee

Blatche 10.3pts on .36 shooting

Young 14.3pts on .40 shooting

Wall is the only one of the players you mentioned that did OK against the magic last season. But, he has a league worst fg% this season.

my bad..

Hmmm I'm going to say this game ends early and we get to see our rooks play some 4th qtr action.

ORL - 103

WAS - 87

Lewis gets a standing ovation at the start, followed by boos during the game. Nothing personal Lewis, just business.

Agree, we are up 12 in the first quarter, so Duhon is now in, let's see if coach can use the vets and rookie's for some much needed game time. A few have not seen the court this year.

No other NBA team is playing as shallow 8-9 players every game, then VanGundy. Hate to get a starter injured in the third quarter when we are up by 30 and kiss the big games like Chicago good bye. They need floor time bad.

Man Washington has horrible D. Any sort of pick or movement and they scramble everywhere.......leaving Dwight open under the basket more often than not.

Good to see Dwight having a good points game for his ego. RA and JJ staying on their good performance. Hedo's been very effective this year, things just working with him on the court.

Come ON Stan, starters not giving 100% when you have them play for four quarters in a home 20-point game against the Wizards is to be expected.

Quit timeouting like it's relevant and put the second unit in.

Couldn't agree more. It's baffling. Run some other legs. Why are we burning our full starters in a game we've already won?

Plus, we need to get Earl Clark back on his feet sooner than later.

When you've contained Dirk, Horford and others on D, you can do stuff.

I don't know, maybe he's fat and slow from the lockout.

But seeing Stan stick with Duhon until the alcohol sweated out of his system had me thinking Earl would get handled similarly.
