Could someone explain this to the rest of us?

REPLY: From TMF

IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T HEARD, THE MAGIC WILL BE WEARING THE DISNEY AD/PATCH ON THEIR JERSEYS NEXT SEASON

The Orlando Magic will wear Disney ads on their jerseys next season

"As part of the jersey sponsorship agreement, Disney will “expand its presence at the Amway Center,” according to a Magic team statement, adding a “special seating and hospitality area” in which fans can buy annual passes to Walt Disney World during select Magic home games. While NBA teams are not required to sell jerseys with the ads on them at retail, the Magic announced that “Disney-branded Orlando Magic jerseys will also be available for purchase at the Amway Center.” Good news abounds for all the Mario Hezonja fanatics who’ve been holding out on copping an authentic until they could make sure there a 2½-inch square with “Disney” written in script on their left collarbone!"

I'm not saying change our main logo; however, we should (in some instance or manner) use an alternate logo or magical resemblance emphasizing strength, power, and nastiness. (See the Bulls, Timberwolves, Grizzlies, Bucks, etc.)

26-44_____________________________________________22-49

YAHOO SPORTS

By NOEY KUPCHAN (STATS Writer)

Elfrid Payton is starting to turn heads for the Orlando Magic, who are coming off their first win in almost two weeks.

The Denver Nuggets had been playing well, but they're beginning to revert to their old habits.

Coming off consecutive triple-doubles, Payton tries to help the Magic snap a four-game losing streak against the Nuggets on Sunday.

After a quiet start to the season, Payton appears to be getting more and more comfortable running the show for Orlando (22-49). The 10th overall pick back in June, Payton is averaging 15.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists over the last nine games, up from his season marks of 8.7, 4.1 and 6.2.

"I do see a different spirit (in Payton), an aggressiveness that is new," interim coach James Borrego said. "There's something different in his eye right now, and he makes us a very dangerous team when he's in that mode."

Payton racked up 15 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists in Wednesday's 107-102 loss at Dallas before posting 22, 10 and 10 in Friday's 111-104 win over Portland, Orlando's first in seven games. Payton, who shot 10 of 13, is the first Magic player to post back-to-back triple-doubles and the first rookie to do it since Antoine Walker in 1997.

Like the Magic, the Nuggets (26-44) are still adjusting to a new coach. They won six of their first eight under Melvin Hunt before losing three in a row, all by double digits.

Denver is hoping to close a five-game road trip on a positive note after falling 108-91 at Miami on Friday. Kenneth Faried stayed hot with 20 points, but the Nuggets shot 7 of 27 from 3-point range and 10 of 19 from the foul line.

The Nuggets have taken four straight and six of seven from the Magic, including a 93-90 home victory in this season's first meeting Jan. 7. Ty Lawson led the way with 23 points while Nikola Vucevic had 20 and 11 rebounds for Orlando.

Faried is averaging 20.8 points on 57.4 percent shooting and 11.3 rebounds over his last four games. He scored 26 in a 120-112 victory at Orlando last March as the Nuggets improved to 3-18 in their last 21 visits.

Denver has been outscored by an average of 12.0 points during an 11-game road losing streak against Eastern Conference opponents.

TEAM NOTES

AP

April 11, 2016 at 4:05 P.M. ET

The Orlando Magic don't want to lose another home finale and may be facing the right opponent to close out their season at Amway Arena with a victory.

The Magic have taken 18 of their last 19 home games against the Milwaukee Bucks, although they may again be without Victor Oladipo and Aaron Gordon in Monday night's matchup.

Orlando (34-46) is closing out a fourth straight season out of the playoffs, and the first three have seen the club lose its home finale. The Magic have won seven of their last 10 at home.

"It's going to be a very important game for us," said guard Evan Fournier, who is averaging 22.5 points over his last four games. "The last game of the season at home, that's going to be hard because it's on a back-to-back, I think everybody's banged up at that point but no excuses, we're going to play as hard as we can and try to win that last game at home."

Orlando is 5-13 in the second game of back-to-back sets while Milwaukee has fared better at 8-11.

The Bucks (33-47) got a boost Sunday with the return of Khris Middleton from a three-game absence for rest as he matched a career high with 36 points in a 109-108 overtime win over Philadelphia that snapped a three-game slide.

IS KYRIE IRVING'S INJURIES A CAUSE FOR CONCERN?

Cav's Nation

by Rob Parks

September 6, 2015

"Irving has been plagued with injuries throughout his NBA career. It’s virtually impossible to go through one season, let alone an entire NBA career, without sustaining any major injuries. Things happen and players get hurt. While injuries are a part of basketball, there is definitely some cause for concern when it comes down to Irving and his injury history."(September 6, 2015 - Date of article)

R74HBf.jpg

"From a broken bone in both hands to injuries on either or both feet, Kyrie Irving has already dealt with enough injuries for a 15-year NBA veteran."
