OrlandoNKentucky 54 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 Normally I'm not too interested in this game come all-star weekend... However, I'm sooo excited for this years game. Normally the sophomores win but this year I'm thinking the Rookies win easy. John Wall, Blake Griffin, Gordan Haywood, Wesley Johnson, Evan Turner, Eric Bledsoe, Demarcus Cousins I don't even know who is going to be on the Sophomore team, but I don't think this one is even going to be close. Having John Wall on the same team as Blake Griffin is just going to be fun to watch. Plus having a little KY reunion will also be fun to see with Bledsoe, Wall, and Cousins. What do you guys think? Think the Sophomores have a chance?
VCplusD12 91 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 Sophomores will have guys like Tyreke Evans, James Harden, DeJuan Blair, Taj Gibson, Stephen Curry, Demar Derozan, etc. They have better guards, but they don't have bigs to hold Blake Griffin down
VCplusD12 91 Report post Posted December 30, 2010 Don't forget Brandon Jennings and EARL CLARK

And I had forgotten about Harden and Derozan. That gives me a little more to think about but nothing to change my mind. I say Rookies win comfortably. I still got my money on the rookies! Sophomores are much more complete. Other than Griffin and Wall, rookies don't have any other high-caliber guys against Evans, Curry, Jennings, Matthews, Ibaka, Holiday, DeRozan. Every single guy in the sophomores is a good NBA player. Just Griffin and Wall for the rookies.

Just Griffin and Wall for the rookies. Lets not forget Demarcus Cousins on this little team. Who has been putting up very solid numbers in the past couple of weeks. I don't know. I know those guys are solid, but I don't think any of them can stop the combination of Wall, Griffin, and Cousins. Also, Jennings won't play. If he pulled out of the dunk contest, then he'll pull out of this as well.
