I was trying to think of what lineup we could use in crunch time in the 4th quarter and I kept going back and forth in my mind and decided to ask everyone here. I put as many lineups that we could use in the first post.

Also I picked number 4. It has our 5 best players on the floor, 4 ball handlers which should cause some matchup problems, and Dwight can make up for whatever defensive lapses we make.

It depends. It depends on matchups, what's working that game, and needs.

Dwight is the only constant, but Jameer is close behind. The 2-4 spots can vary based on the situation. This team has a lot of versatility, and I think its difficult to narrow it down to a 5 man lineup that is difinitive.

Went with Meer, JJ, JRich, Hedo, Howard.

This is more specifically my "We need a big shot" lineup, not my defense-minded lineup needed to close out a narrow lead in the 4th.

Reasoning being: we all know Meer can hit the big shots when need be, JJ can't miss at the moment, Jrich has been known to drain big 3's and has playoff experience with PHX, Hedo - well no magic fan has forgotten what Hedo can do in the 4th, and Dwight is Dwight.

I'd like to have Arenas in the game at crunch time, but Jameer has proven he can be clutch so we gotta stick with him. Same with Redick. Richardson is good and all, but Redick has come through a lot for us and plays better defense and is a better passer IMO. Turk, Bass, and obviously Howard.

Match ups will always vary for each game and it also depends on who decides to play well.

Jameer - Gil - Hedo - Clark - Anderson

I think it should be fairly obvious after tonight.. haha

but for real, this team has too much depth and has too many talented players to have a set 4th quarter line up for every team and every game

I agree, whoever is hustling on D and hitting shots along with Dwight and Turk... we could even play with Turk and JJ in the back-court and Dwight and 2 other that are hitting shots... we are so deep we aren't forced to have a set squad to finish with and we really have to go with the best 5 for that particular game and match-up!

It all depends on who's playing good, and who we are playing.

Last night showed us that not even Dwight is set for the 4th.

(Yea right. Let's see how many more times this happens.)
