I could see Denver using Billups' contract as part of their rebuilding process, and they already have a cheap version of Jameer in Lawson. They would be paying a good price for a starting center. His experience and veteran leadership would be a nice addition, too. The downside in trading Jameer is I believe it would end the Paul speculation, as I'm sure NO would much prefer a young Nelson to an aging Billups. All that being said, I'm obviously completely throwing stuff against the wall. I seriously doubt Otis would include Jameer in a trade except for Paul. He loves the kid.
