Just because the Heat decided to steal our thunder with the Duhon signing by landing LeBron shortly afterward, doesn't mean we need to panic. Our coach panics enough as it is. Penny Hardaway's Ghost 260 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 quote: Originally posted by richnba:lol, all this says is how desperate the Bulls are. almost 40 millions dollars invested in two players who are exactly the same. They need to do something the same thing that they had zero of, shooting, so, not really a desperation move, they're building a balanced rotation IMO. Jareth Cutestory 678 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 Otis...now is the time. Trade Wince and build for the future with a guy who knows the system. Keep JJ and start him. I'd rather overpay for JJ alittle then pay Wince 17 mil this year to do what he does.
St3althW4rrior 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 Redick signed to get this over with. He knows he wants to be on the Orlando Magic with Chris Duhon. The only way for Magic to match is for Redick to sign a sheet.

Its desperation in that they are about to overpay a guy for 7 mil a year, who will realistically get you maybe 8 points a game, and average to below average defense
Nyce_1 311 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 not up to Otis. Finance guys and RDV gotta OK the numbers. Did he even sign the offer sheet?
Miller4Prez64 1 Report post Posted July 9, 2010 It's only a three year deal. It expires the same year as Dwight and Lewis. So as long as DeVos is willing to pay, you match. You can't let a rival like the Bulls improve their roster at our cost. I think we should match. If we do match, I think Bass gets shipped away for nothing to save some salary or something. The only way for Magic to match is for Redick to sign a sheet. But JJ is offered starter money. You dont pay 7 mil a year for a back up. The only way we match is if we get rid of Vince for a SF or PF.
