I see ZERO chance of this happening. Gil is getting paid 17 mil, 19 mil, 20 mil, and 22 mil the next four seasons. Plus if you look at our contracts we are going to have a lot of money to play with in the 2013 offseason when Dwight and Jam are Free Agents and Shard is off the books. We should be able to sign a top flight player to go with Dwight. Plus there is the often rumored CP3 trade that could go down in a year or two. Why would we sacrifice this for a player that will be on the books for 22 mil that 2013 season and will destroy our cap. Plus Gil cant make it injury free through a whole season in the last couple of years...and one more thing. The guy is 28 and would be around 32 when his contract is over. PASS!!!

If we lose JJ...can someone tell me how this years Magic team is better then last years team? We are going to lose our best defensive wing player and the only guy who cuts to the basket hard in Matt Barnes. We are going to replace him with Q..who is a better outside shooter, but much worse on D. Also Q cant create his own shot, and is just going to stand behind the 3 point line, Jacking up 3's every now and again. We then have Vince Carter who is another year older, and another step slower. Basically JJ was our guy in the playoffs, and Vince watched from the bench. Vince was a black hole on offense jacking up shots, and hardly ever driving to the basket. JJ on the other hand was one of the best passers on our team. How many times did JJ hook up with a nice pass to a cutting Gortat all last year. It was something that Vince could not do anymore. So now with JJ gone who is going to come off the bench for Vince when he goes Wince Carter on us? If we keep Lewis at PF then that means either Q or Peaches is starting. So does that mean Peaches backs up Vince at SG? But then who backs up Q at SF? Even if we do match on JJ and keep him...how is this years team better? How is this team going to beat LA, Miami, or Boston? We really need some type of change, and it looks like we are not going to get it. The only thing we can say is....

Maybe he ment next Tuesday Gortat will be traded.

Name a better front court then.

A trade is going to happen. No way do we keep JJ with vince on this team. JJ will cost us 16 mil next year if w match. No way we pay that much for a back up sg. The only way JJ stays is if he is a starter. That's why I could see a Vince for Jefferson trade. Jefferson has a contract thAt will expire when shards does. So we will have huge amount of cap room in 3 years to get any free agent we want. In the time being dwight and Jefferson will be the best front court in the league hands down. And will help cancel out The heats advantage at the wings. What ever happens a trade is days away.
