Jareth, like you, we all want Wincent to be traded, but let not "oh ok" tweets get the best of your emotions. Or mine.

sorry Jareth, but I'm not seeing anything from his tweet. Yeah, its kinda....weird, but I don't use twitter so I don't know what's normal and what's not. Some groupie could've just dissed him, and his reaction..."oh ok".

Oh ok

OMG, HE'S GETTING TRADED.

We break ourselves down, we build ourselves up for disappointment.

How fragile we are, so fragile we are we just dont show it.

We'll shake up this town, You'll shoot down the stars for our enjoyment.

So sexy we are, so sexy we are we just dont know it.

Greatest post ever solely because it's one of my favorite songs by Gym Class Heroes.

"Tayshaun Prince could also be on the block, and he "will have the most trade value because of that expiring deal and a solid second half [of the 2009-10 season]."

With the possibility of losing Matt Barnes and the probability that Rashard will stay at PF unless we trade for a legit starting PF (and no Bass/Anderson are not it), we need a starting calibre SF. If we get outbid on Barnes I believe this could be a solid move for us:

Gortat $7M + Pietrus 5.3M) for Tayshawn Prince $11M.

Detroit is in need of a center and a back up PF or replacement SF. They just signed Ben Wallace but I imagine his role is not as a starter. Prince is 30yr and an $11M expiring contract. He is a great passer and long defender, solid rebounder, unselfish team mentality, decent 3pt shooter (.370), battle tested clutch performer. If nothing major happens (CP3/AI) this move gives us flexibility and a solid contributor who is a huge upgrade over Barnes.

This also gives us an option to have $25M in expiring contracts (inc. VC's) at the trade deadline. These are huge because they will be the only way we can make a major upgrade heading into 2011/12 season which will be Dwight's last committed season to the Magic.
