Drain-O 369 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 I could be absolutely crazy but I would take Kevin Love over Al Jefferson.

Al Jefferson is very overrated, he's one of those players who put up "empty stats." He may look good on the statsheet, but he's really doing nothing on the floor to contribute to a winning cause. VCplusD12 91 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 VC's contract may be better in a trade situation, but I don't see him back in Toronto. Who goes back to Toronto? LMAO

I think Love is the perfect PF for Stan's system, especially now that he added the 3pt shot to his game.
VCplusD12 91 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 In addition, that would be a good trade for Toronto. They would get a true center (top 10-13), an actually talented swingman and a Big that can shoot the lights out (they love these guys). AND They would get rid of Turk and his contract, and would not lose Bosh for free. I truly believe this trade would make both teams better.
VCplusD12 91 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 Orlando's 5 would be 2011 Nelson ? 2010 Nelson 2011 VC > 2010 VC (can't get any worse than that) 2011 Hedo > 2010 Barnes 2011 Bosh > 2010 Lewis 2011 Dwight > 2010 Dwight Toronto 2011 Calderon > 2010 Calderon (same as VC) 2011 Pietrus > whoever their 2010 SG was 2011 Lewis > 2010 Hedo 2011 Bargnani < 2010 Bosh 2011 Gortat > whoever their 2010 C was

VCplusD12 91 Report post Posted June 28, 2010 Maybe, maybe not. I hope not. Still, you could use VC to sign a good piece when the next season ends, or trade him if he doesn't work at all. But would you make the trade I proposed?

VC's expiring doesn't mean much when we're over the cap by more than his contract. We won't be able to sign anybody outright. We could trade him mid way through the season(or now) and then sign him when his contract expires depending on our finances.
