Have the team with HC advantage the choice to start at home or on the road in playoffs. Traditional 2-2-1-1-1 OR 2 on road 3 at home 1-1. Take some of the pressure off the home team (if they want) to pretty much have to win their two home games.

Other than intentional fouls... fouls are not called unless it changes the shot or possession unless a player gains an unfair advantage

 

1 designated foul shooter on each team shoots all foul shots

 

Move the basket to 12' high so not everybody can dunk

 

Refs that make too many bad calls are fired, just like we would all lose our jobs if we F'd up too much

Also, more refs!!!! Why only 3? dont you have money NBA??? why have these old *******s run up and down the court? Why not 5-6 refs? Leave them stationary. 2 on each end..LET THEM STAY THERE. Maybe 2 others elsewhere? WHY DO YOU HAVE 3 REFS A GAME THAT ARE 80 YEARS OLD RUN UP AND DOWN THE COURT AND MISS HALF THE CALLS??????? YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY 5-6 REFS A GAMEEEEEE.

I would also bump the one year in college rule to two years in college. Makes the NCAA and NBA products better. Kids aren't mature enough to come out of high school anyways. For every one Dwight or LeBron there's ten Lou Williams and Kwame Browns.

Eliminating the hand checking and defensive three second rules are good ones. Especially the defensive three seconds, that would probably be a bigger advantage for us more than any other team in the league.

1 more I forgot to add... it would not be an offensive foul if when bringing down a rebound you accidentally elbow somebody. If you don't want to get hit by elbows from a 7 footer then stay out of his way once he has the ball
