We REALLY need a second PG this summer

i would like to see the magic draft a high quality guy that can learn the svg system. we need a big strong defensive minded player who is a pg. nelson played great against the cats and should do well against atlanta but after that i am worried.

Carlos Arroyo is a free agent this summer and a perfect fit for the Magic. This year he has proven again that he can start in an NBA team a do a decent job.

In the sense Orlando landed Pietrus instead and he was the 4th most important member of the team in the playoffs last year, I agree.

 

I would still take Duhon in a heart beat. He's a respectable 3 point shooter (36% career) while never benefiting from playing with a legit post presence. He's also a true pg and solid defender who's spent about half his career playing out of position in miniature backcourts.

right. and we're talking about BACKUP point guard. we're not going to get much better than dooling or duhon.
