Lebron's Collision with Dwight

Recommended Posts

On ESPN, a reporter with the Cleveland Newspaper (Cleveland Plain Dealer) was asked why Lebron did not drive to the basket the entire 4th quarter instead of chucking 3 pointers and missing.

The reporter said that he asked Lebron about it, and his response was that he stopped driving in after he collided with Dwight, and Dwight (rang his bell) earlier in the game.

One reporter's opinion was that if LeBron had driven to the basket during the 4th quarter, at least he would have gotten to the free throw line and possibly win the game.

He didn't "collide" with Dwight, he got up close and personal while Dwight was grabbing a rebound, and he got caught with an elbow. Great no call by the refs. Go back and look at that sweet, sweet picture of Dwight's elbow buried in his face, you can see Shaq was pushing from behind and LeBron was grabbing him from the front.

The truth of the matter is that LeBron never drives as much when they play Orlando. Most of his lay ups and dunks come in transition, not when the defense is set. Dwight has blocked him enough to be in his head.

Absolutely correct. I doubt the "collision", as he calls it, had much to do with it.

Also, add to the fact that Lebron is now crying about how the refs don't give him calls. So according to him, he wouldn't have gotten to the line in the 4th quarter!

I've noticed that since Dwight's epic block on him, Lebron has tried to block Dwight's shot as many times as he can. You can tell his pride has been hurt.

nah there was a time during the 4th when bron drove into the basket and he met a brick wall that is known as the reigning DPOY...bron wanted a foul called but it was a clean play so he resorted to shooting jumpers the rest of the 4th

I'm glad the refs didn't penalize dwight for jumping straight up when someone like Lebron ran into him. They didn't buy the Flops yesterday by Anderson either.

Just about every time Anderson was ****ing his head back like he got hit with a sledge hammer. If anything, that should kill his credibility and they shouldn't give him any calls.

I showed the pic of Dwight elbowing Bron in the spongechamber (a.k.a. "The head") and they were all "Did he die?" or "Those muscles... did the other guy get seriously injured?"

When I said he survived but his ego is in ICU, they were all... awwww... Mortal Kombat has gone soft? No Fatalities?!
