ah! ok

and Lewis was like 0-12 during the first three quarters?

Question:

How come SVG cheerleaders always see things backwards?

Anyways, until Stan realizes he needs a bigger combination around the post and get Lewis out of the PF position when they play Boston, the Magic will continue to get manhandled by the Cs in second chance points and points in the paint off guard penetration from Rondo.

SVG's rotation made Tony Allen appear to be Michael Jordan

Anyone noted the number of dunks? Celtics shot almost as bad fg%, but got at least 4 times the number of dunks we did.

I'll give Lewis the benefit of the doubt but he's not playing smart out there. He's hit some shots and had some decent games, but he better be turning it on once he plays more we need him to be a threat out there and man up if we want to have a chance.

Lewis? Man up? You talking about the human marshmallow? All he can do is shoot 3's. Unless SVG puts him on the post, what you are seeing from him is what you get. A lazy player who plays matador on defense, and never once has exerted himself going after a loose ball. The dude is softer than Angel Food Cake. Go Magic!!!

I keep waiting for the Magic to start clicking on all cylinders. I hate to say this but they seemed to be finding their way when Jameer was injured. Although JWill was running out steam he continued to push the ball and even AJ continued to push the ball. Jameer just doesn't have it. The Magic are at their best when they're playing at a fast pace. Jameer was walking the ball up the court and the Celtics layed in the weeds waiting for them. The Magic could have easily run them ragged if they had just pushed the ball and controlled the pace of the game.

Jameer came back too soon. Obviously Stan didn't learn anything from the playoffs. Not knocking the guy's ability to play but when he's playing hurt, he does more harm than good.

The Magic may have to sit this one out unless they really dig deep and find their game between now and April. If they don't I have to agree with the media, they're bound for an early vacation.

For some reason that seems to have slipped by Povtak's short term memory.

Too early in the season for people to say that this team or that are going to beat anyone in the playoffs.

And yes Povtak did say last year that the Magic would lose to both Boston and then Cleveland in the playoffs.

Yes, because Jameer was not there to ballhog, and Jason Williams did an excellent job of ball distribution.

The reason we won in Boston has nothing to do with Jason Williams. If you go back and watch the tape, Vince kept us in it and basically won that game for us.

We lost the other day not because of defense, it was basically because we missed most every shot we put up. Dwight was taken out of the game offensively and it just went downhill from there.

I will say that Jameer needs to pick up the pace a bit though. Our team works better when we push. JWill does do a good job of that.

The Magic played probably their worst game of the season yesterday breaking records for playing so ****ty. Yet we still had a shot to win the game in the final minutes. Boston is never going to have a srangle on the Magic. All of you panic people need to realize. Boston has had the same core players for several years so what you saw is the best they got. We've got alot of new players and we've dealt with injuries. The Magic have plenty of upside going into the playoffs. Boston is not going to get any better. If anything they'll be tired and injured. We will beat them.

I think the only thing we shud worry about the celtics is taking care of KG , Rasheed, Perkins. We dont need a pf to be outside and wait to shoot a 3 while dwight is being beaten around , thats why we need bass to play in games against the celtics.

While some of your criticism is warranted, you might be forgetting he's being used wrong. Lewis is and will always be an inconsistent shooter .It's the coach's job to get the most out of his ability.

Lewis ability is to get us points in the clutch and a nice back-to-the-basket game (which this coach has totally wasted) in his stubborn idea that he be always outside or facing the basket, and on occasions have a screen run so he can slash.

Problem is, despite his slim frame he isn't quick, or strong enough to draw many fouls and still score like a real power forward would.

What's funny is the criticism on Jameer. The typically youngest fans are ungrateful bandwagoners who forget what Nelson was doing for us when healthy last season.

Fact is without Nelson in good shooting form, Stan Van Gundys' offense goes to total crap like it did on the Boston game.
