Another locker room problem? (update pg.2)

Through their first 14 games Orlando might be an impressive 11-3, but not all is right in the Magic Kingdom. They might be winners of 5 straight, which is good for best in the NBA, but there seems to be someone missing.

Despite being atop the league standings, injuries have taken their toll on a roster full of All-Stars. Rashard Lewis missed the first 10 games due to a suspension, not to mention Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus, Marcin Gortat, Ryan Anderson, and Brandon Bass have missed time as well while Jameer Nelson will be out for more than a month. Meanwhile, JJ Redick and Matt Barnes have played through injuries.

These injuries have been especially costly considering Orlando is a drastically different team than it was when it made it all the way to the NBA Finals last year. But still, an 11-3 record wont be good enough for some, including one specific player.

Despite his salary of over $800,000 - which some argue Otis Smith drastically overpaid - rumblings both inside and outside the Magic locker room suggest this player is fed up with his lack of playing time, Stan Van Gundy's attitude, and JJ Redick.

For the rest...

I've heard he is planning on cooking a large Thanksgiving meal for Dwight and Marcin thursday.

They will OD on triptophen and sleep through the Hawks game giving him a chance to start.

First of all, Foyle is coming back from surgery and can't play if he wanted to.

And second, if he's really causing a distraction on the bench then we need to cut the string he's hanging from.

I don't see this being a big issue since Foyle is a non-factor so far this season

Apparently Otis has put Foyle on the block and has gotten a few offers. One of them was a 3 way trade with Foyle going to Cleveland for LeBron James and the contract of Rashad Griffith going to the Hornets for Chris Paul. A few future 1st round picks are involved too.

I think we should hold on to him until something better comes along. Foyle is too pivotal to this team despite all the locker room distractions he is causing.

Let's just hope this thing doesn't blow up like the Augustine drama of 2007.
