As for the thread, I agree to an extent, Knappy. I've been one of Jameer's biggest supporters throughout the years and not since last season have I ever seen him play so confidently. If he can transition that kind of play to this season, then....well....

Knappy, Jameer is way overrated in this forum. Around the NBA every team knows Jameer is not a true PG, only a SG in a midget body. Lets see what he can do as a "floor general" now that Turk (who was the real floor general for the Magic for the last three years) is not with the team anymore!

If you look at what Jameer did before he went down with the shoulder injury and compare it to what Alston and Lee did in his abscence, it's easy to see the Magic made a huge mistake letting Alston and Lee go. How quickly we forget that they were the ones who led us to the playoffs when everyone else counted us out. And we fell apart when they activated Jameer in the finals (That should go down as one of the biggest mistakes this franchise has ever made)

 

In time we will all see that Jameer is nothing more than a undersized shooting guard.

 

Having him "defer to noone" and for him to "look for his own shot" will be a disaster. And anyone who thinks that's a good idea is just an idiot.

It is a hell of a lot easier for our bigger and better players to dominate games. Mabye Dwight Howard, Vince Carter, and possibly even Rashard.

 

We wont be more successfull if we are wanting Jameer to be dominating games. He's in a perfect situation to be a true PG now. He's a outstanding shooter, so he can feed the ball to others, being a pass first PG, and shoot OPEN shots.

Why are some of you still going on with these clowns that think Jameer is a scrub that can't dominate in a YMCA pick up game. It's obvious that the only reason their hating on Jameer is because their really Pacer fans that's mad T.J. Ford didn't make the Allstar team last season. So they come on this message board to start crap about how overrated Nelson is. Going back and forward with them is just a waste of time.

Agreed- One of the posters talked about Turk . lol. Probably a Celtics or Cavs fan. They are scared that Magic might just win this time.
