Berto 338 Report post Posted August 6, 2009 I wouldn't be surprised if the punishment was lessened, or better yet, completely overturned.

I'm curious what exactly the NBA rules committee looks at when it is determining what should be an illegal substance. Telling a athlete he can't take a substance approved by the FDA seems a little strange. How would that be a joke? The perception that idiot fans will have now of Lewis no matter what the outcome is is changed forever.

Not likely as it is still on the leagues banned substance list!

iChef 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2009 Awwww ****!! Come on! How come Cry Baby James wasn't tested after the conference finals? Did the thought ever cross anyone's mind to test the Lakers after the NBA Finals?!?! Sheez!!
AddiFB 429 Report post Posted August 6, 2009 I'm sorry but who cares about the friggin' All Star Game? It's the season and postseason we should care about. All-Star selection or not, I don't care.

I thought you were saying he wasn't deserving to be in the allstar game. It doesn't matter what the fans think anyway. Rashard will never be voted into a allstar game by the fans...steroids controversy or no.
Magic Fins 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2009 Here's what REALLY pisses me off. Rashard has to sit out the first ten games of the season because of something you can buy over the counter, and even comes IN A MULTI-****ING VITAMIN. But the Rasheed Wallaces and Ron Artests of the world, whose offseasons probably resemble a scene from the Cheech and Chong "Up in Smoke" movies, dont' get touched. If the NBA started banning for marijuana like the NFL does, they'd have to start playing 3 on 3. What's wrong with this picture???? ****!!!
