Emory889 353 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 That is a terrible story. I want to repeatedly beat the hijacker and the worthless onlookers that did nothing.
MagicMan83 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 Detroit and Newark are 2 cities that both need to be leveled. Just bad places.
Osprey 199 Report post Posted May 14, 2007 I would rather move to Canada than spend one day in that hell hole. What kind of person stands by while a 91 year old man gets demolished? There were five of them, they could have easily overpowered him. I know that there is no Good Samaritan law anymore and for good reason, but this is just ludacrous. Osprey 199 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 Yeah, Florida is a pretty violent place, but we have about a million different ethnicities and are the fastest growing state in the nation, so there are going to be problems. Also, 1/4 of the nation's cocaine and heroin come through Florida and 1/2 of the country's ecstasy comes right up I-4. Plus we have great weather, world class attractions, and nearby beaches. What does Detroit have going for it?

Really? Where did you hear that? It was a DEA stat from 2003 that I saw in my Domestic Issues and Policy class two semesters ago. I couldn't believe it either, Ill try to find you a link. They called Interstate 4 the "Ecstasy Highway" Another interesting fact in Florida was the Jacksonville has the highest murder rate in the country.
Ned Ryerson 94 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 quote: Another interesting fact in Florida was the Jacksonville has the highest murder rate in the country. It's in relation to their size. Jacksonville is the largest city (land mass) in the US.
Osprey 199 Report post Posted May 15, 2007 Interestingly enough, if you rank cities as far as population within city limits Jacksonville is the 11th most populated city in the country. Its funny though, living in Jacksonville it doesn't seem that big, because there are so many highways connecting different parts. I wonder what the murder rate of Duval county (Jacksonville) compares to other COUNTIES in the country.
