Sentinel now confirming Magic matching to retain Gortat

Recommended Posts

Picking up a talented young PF to take some of the rebounding load off your all-star C - $18M

Matching your back-up C, who's drawing interest around the league - $34M

Spanking the deepest pockets in the league, twice - Priceless

well it's obvious, the first step is you relinquish all rights to The Puns over to Moldy Hobo...A man of his characters desires his own realm...Hopefully he can tell us where Hoffa is...

It is O-fficial

It does say the Magic will match - could Dallas have one last shot to give us something in trade? Or, Gortat will be Houston bound for Christmas - you can put him in a stocking on the Houston Rockets tree.

The Rockets will likely put something in our stocking as well - it may or may not be a surprise to the Moldy one.

Matching bans us from dealing him to the Mavs, we can move him to another team after 6 months (mid Dec)

The Rockets would be a likely trade partner.

That's who they were talking about on HoopsWorld of course that site isn't the most reliable.

so wait who starts?

Howard

Bass/Gortat/Anderson

Lewis/Anderson

Crater

Nelson

Anderson, Bass. and Gortat will fight for the start

Now if Gortat wins, any chance of moving Howard back to PF and let Gortat be a Ben Wallace type of Center, not a lot of points but very good D

Well, I'd simply like to state that our frontline rotation is flat-out filthy.

Bass/Anderson

Howard/Gortat

If we acquire Barnes and/or Ratliff, this must be deemed the standard for offseason improvement.

man we just went from a team no one thought would contend to top 2 easily.

it's now Orlando and Boston as top two, Cavs did do enough, and if Bos. loses Big Baby, then Orlando easily is number 1

I say we go big, when we pick up Ratliff

we go with

Howard

Ratliff

Anderson

Gortat, and

Lewis

off the bench we go with

Nelson, AJ, JJ, Carter and Bass and we bring back Darrell Armstrong

Word from the Hobo is that we are picking up Foyle for another year instead of Ratliff. But, yes, I'd love to come out of retirement.

I just have to point out if you ever said anything like this 2 years ago(like most of my friends), its very clear now that you failed miserably.

The Cavs are going after Barnes and have more of their MLE left then the Magic. I believe money talks.

Also apparently Boston is still working on keeping Baby Davis.
