First of all why is this suprising? I said that Sheed would never come here, he didn't even bother making a visit. Second of all Sheed has nothing to do with Gortat. Us not signing Sheed does not turn Gortat into a PF. That is why Otis does not want to pay him because he would be backing up Dwight. The Celtics are going to be hard to beat, but I won't say impossible because injuries can happen. Bass is now the most wanted man and if we don't get him say hello to JJ in the starting lineup.

I'm not sure that we really need defense, we led the league in defensive efficiency with Shard at the 4, and Turk and AJ playing significant minutes. We really just need to rebound the misses. Of course, Lee is still unrealistic.

 

It's sad that Boston's castoffs are now our targets. McDyess or bust at this point. And I know Davis is a good player I just hate him so much that the mere thought of him in a magic uniform makes me cringe. Hell, why not add Mo Williams or Eddie House while we're at it.
