Poll: Starting a Franchise ... Dwight or Lebron?

Recommended Posts

If I have the 1st pick in 2003, I would go with Lebron...

If I have the 1st pick in 2004, I would go with D12...

Isn't that simple?

Other than Michel Jordan, Big men have Always won the championship! That is what I don't understand, everyone wants the next Jordan to rise but only Jordan did it, no one else, that is what made him so special.

Look at the recent years...

Celtics _ Garnett

Lakers championships- Shaq

Spurs - Duncan

Detroit - Wallace boys

Heat - Shaq

Rockets - Olajuwon

Lakers - Worthy, Jabbar

Probably Dwight, as we've seen, big men really help out championships. Look at the Lakers in the early 2000's, you simply didn't mess with them, period. 3 rings is a lot honestly. Shaq may be a taboo name around us and such, but he's a **** good big man. Nearly got us to the championship and with Kobe, he took 3 championships, and one with the Heat as well.

Ha-Ha, typical results to this poll since this is a Magic message board...Dwight dominates.

I couldn't bring myself to vote for Lebron either even though I love watching the guy make spectacular plays look routine.

I think this series is answering that question perfectly although I will say no more until we have it in the bag!

Bottom line is good role players to compliment a dominant big man are way easier to come across than a decent big man to compliment an awesome wing player.
