BN 44 Report post Posted July 18, 2013 A report today by Vincent Goodwill of The Detroit News indicates that veteran Jason Maxiell has agreed to a two-year, $5 million deal with the Orlando Magic. The 30-year-old undersized power forward is a player Goodwill writes is "universally respected in the locker room because of his no-nonsense nature and willingness to do the dirty work," which could be just the type of presence needed on the Magic's youthful roster. Seems like at least a mil per year too much, but we definitely need this sort of a vet. I wonder what this suggests about the future of Davis and the younger undersized power forwards on the team.
