That’s playoff basketball. You play as physical as you can because the refs swallow the whistle more and you operate on the mentality that if you foul 3-4 every play, there’s no way the refs call all of them. AG was physical with Kawhi and it slowed him up a ton, nobody was physical with Siakam, so he ate all night.

In the 2 games we were competitive this series, Ross is +22 and only averaged about 28 minutes a game. He needs to be out there more. He’s our x-factor. With how hard they have to close on him it makes everybody else’s life on offense easier and we desperately need that. I want to see Ross play 35-38 minutes a game for the rest of the series

Only 4 in the 4th... JI rode the pine in favor of the regular season closing lineup. Coach is playing pretty much the same rotation as he did in the season regardless of results. Like, there’s no reason Ross should be sitting for the first 8-9 minutes of each half and only hitting 31 minutes. JI only played 29 minutes while Pascal played 42. Isaac’s minutes need to mirror Pascal’s just like Gordon’s mirror Kawhi’s. Fournier has done nothing to deserve the faith of being on the court in crunch time.

It’s crazy how much better Siakam has been in the postseason against us compared to the regular season. So far in the playoffs, 24.3 points and 10 rebounds a game, in the regular season, he averaged 8.75 and 6.75 and really struggled.... not something I expected, and don’t know if we can get back to what slowed him down

Once we got in, my hope was to make the series hell for them and to steal a game, maybe 2. I still think we can pull out game 4 and force a game 6 in Amway

I can’t think of any reason why Isaac wasn’t in over Fournier in crunch time. It’s baffling. Fournier couldn’t hit a damn thing and his mismatch on Siakam led to all of their late scoring.

3rd straight game under 20 assists

If you just box score watch by free throw attempts it seems we got the favorable whistle, sure. But we were more aggressive on offense and they were swiping like crazy on D. Also, Brothers and co stripped us of at least 3 and-1s

What game were you watching? Much like game 2, we got more fouls called on them because they’re literally hacking away every single time we touch it. They’ve definitely adopted the mantra that the refs won’t call every foul. Gasol and Ibaka should’ve fouled out twice

If Tony Brothers never refs another Magic game it’ll be too soon. His crew was horrendous tonight

You’re literally the worst sometimes, dude.

It’s who he is. He’s a flash in a pan every few games, but mainly just a reliable guard that can shoot when he’s open and take good care of the ball. He’s certainly not the Allen Iverson clone he looked like in game 1.
