The Expendables - 8/10 Lead actress was smoking, and Terry Cruz was awesome haha. Definitely should go see it if your in the mood for explosions and alot of ass kicking. Entertaining, and solid overall movie. Worth admission.

But no, the movie I was talkn about was Date Night w/ Mila Kunis, Steve Carrel, Common, Walberg, all those guys... An honest typo lol. Never even knew there was a 'Date Movie', but damn who idiot would waste their money to make that film haha? Lol, yall are relentless on here... It's not about expecting it to be good or bad, it's more about the TYPE of movie i'm expecting. If im expecting an action movie for example, i'll have a certain expectation in my head for that classification. I'll rank it more against other action movies. My expectation for action movie is innately different than what im expecting in a comedy or an intentionally silly movie. I'm sorry, but thats how it is w/ me... Feel like it's hard to crossover when i'm rating one, to take into account all genres. It's easier to just compare it more within it's classification. Just cuz mine is 1 or 2 points off from what you think, it's not that serious...

If it is one of them, it didnt even register with me that it was until I heard yall saying it on here. It's not like I seek out these corny movies, only reason I saw it was cause the ppl I was with wanted to. I watched the preview right before they ordered it on PPV and knew it was gona be corny. You act like im an avid fan of these kind of movies, Im not, this particular one just wasnt terrible imo. Im a fan of Kunis, Common, and Marky Mark so maybe that's why I was generous with my ranking. On reflection I couldve given it a 6.5 or a 6, but damn, i didnt think it was horrific. Just get off me already, lol. You act like I was @ the damn premier and gave the movie a perfect score. Well my expectations affect my perception of it... If im expecting the movie to be ignorant going in, then why am i gonna come out of it disappointed? It was intentionally made like that, it wasnt trying to be something else... Obviously if I had certain expectations built up(based on previews) that it failed to live up to, then I would be more critical of it by nature if I felt i was deceived. I didnt think the movie was that terrible tho, and they did a good job w/ the advertising by portraying it for what it actually was. Only thing that motivates me to be highly critical is when a movie tries to promote itself as something its ultimately not. They promote a film as this great high budget summer master piece, or this brilliant movie, and then the movie flops and is flawed cheesy and unoriginal. If they market themselves like that then i would be expecting a more realistic, original, quality and well executed film. This movie did nothing to really build itself as serious, so I cant be mad at it. Another thing that makes me more critical is bad acting, but I thought the acting was solid overall, just the plot was flawed and corny. I didnt think about that much, it was just an average movie for it's classification, imo.

Look yall, I rate based on my expectations. I gave it 7.5 that's a C average, and my expectations were low to begin with lol... An average grade for an average movie, not like im gonna go tell all my friends to see it and secretly rewatch it over and over... didn't like it that much, just dont think it was as horrific as you and your buddy do for some reason... Yeah it was flawed and cheesy as hell, but I mean thats pretty much what I was expecting, so i dont see how i can take points off for that? Acting is passable, not like Law Abiding Citizen or Pelham 123 where the acting just kills the tone of the movie... I was expecting a 'wtf', corny type movie, so I mean I had no major problems with it... The ending was weird and lame, true, but aside from that i dont see the major problem. Obviously if you was expecting something different and original, then you rented/dowloaded the wrong movie. Based on my expectations, it was an average film tho. Give it a 6.5, 7.5, or whatever you want to call it, i dont really care strongly for it one way or the other... You guys r acting like i gave it a 10 or sumthing lol
