According to J.J. the Magic are better without Dwight(Bill Ingram)

I'M SHOUTING THIS. JJ IS SMART ENOUGH TO NOT SAY ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND ANYONE CAN IMPERSONATE ANYONE ON TWITTER. THIS IS JUST SOME UNINFORMED IDIOT TRYING TO GET SOMETHING GOING. -
I heard out of the locker room that Courtney Lee has a fractured skull and is out for the year. Don't prescribe to the rumor mill...so has anyone else heard anything about his condition?

Celtics didn't make an offer for J.J. after all...

Here the real scoop: Otis is right, he probably did not talk to Danny about, but he did talk to Arn Tellum, JJ's agent about it. That's what agents do. The original trade involved JR Giddens and a forward. -
Anyone that would spend this much time on frivolous speculative opinion has got to get a life. Smackdaddy, you are useless.

Let's Be Real...The Call Sucked, But WE BEAT OURSELVES

I am looking at all the posts this morning and am very surprise Lewis' name is not coming up more frequently. In my humble opinion, he lost the game. If you review the last four minutes of the game, he had numerous missed shots, turnovers and bonehead decisions. He was open at the top for a three and decided to drive down the lane and do a woop-dee-do underhanded scoop.Nice shot. He does keep his composure, though......He had 6 TO's and shot 6/21. -
Van Gundy Should Have Given Some Starters Night Off - Schmitz

A level headed coach, who does not want to burn out his players like he did on the front side of the season, would have played his starters lightly. But I think we've come to realize that he is not level-headed, often getting stuck on his mindsets like trying to get a bone away from a dog, and the results are losses and the bench getting any meaningful minutes. That's Stan. What he puts at risk is perpetuating these lackluster performances by his starters. Good luck going into the playoffs. -
Correction. They prefer to be called caucasian. Calling them "white" is sooooooooooooooooo racist.

Otis, what are you thinking Re: J.J. Redick?
LarryEtt replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
JJ Wouldn't be happier to leave this organization, although he has enjoyed the players. So bring it on! In 2009 and 2010 he can return to Orlando and burn the livin' daylights out of the Magic. So be it. -
Post Your Craziest Predictions For The Season Here:

ALL of SVG's hair finally falls out and his doctor makes him turn over the reigns to Branden, who waives everyone who is not playing defense. We have five players left, three of which have never gotten off the bench all year. They win the championship on a 3 by Gahritty. -
FAN: Why didn't you play JJ last night. The SG's really shined all night offensively(Laughs)! SVG: (After wine at dinner) I won't be playing the guy at all. I've been giving Otis the message for three months and he is dumb as a doornail. We need to trade him.....

Magic GM vows he won't meet Redick's trade request(Denton)
LarryEtt replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
quote: Since I'm apparently a hater, I will answer. I have expressed numerous times that I would like to see JJ contribute in a role that utilizes his strengths. He definitely should play 10-15mpg on a nightly basis. Sometimes more when it provided the team with a decided advantage, and sometimes less if his defense was creating a disadvantage for the team. And not being happy with your playing time, getting frustrated with your role (or lack of one), is perfectly acceptable. He wouldn't be the competitor he is if he didn't want extensive clock. However, he should have done the professional thing and instructed his agent to keep it in house, and he himself should have kept it under wraps. That's where my criticism is founded. He did the 'professional thing': He has kept it in house since December and met with both coach and GM twice. In JJ's defense, imagine charting the comments that SVG and Smith have made over the last two months on a 'logic tree' and coming to the conclusion that neither can give a reasonable explanation of why he is not playing and why they will not trade him. The ONLY thing that is logical is OM's comments about his worries that there will be a mass exodus this summer at the 2-gaurd position. Nevertheless, no logic that if that be the case, why not give him some PT to develop him. Probabaly to JJ, if he were the remain in ORlando, Otis would just recruit another Mo Evans to replace him and enjoy year 3 on the bench. Don't fault Arn Tellum or JJ because Smith and SVG are so predictable. -

quote: Sorry, but the two times someone has come to me and demanded anything, or threatened to leave, I kindly offered to accept their resignation. Anyone who ever worked for me learned that I don't accept ultimatums. Now, if you come to me with well thought out points as to why you think you deserve a raise and care to discuss them in a civil manner, by all means. That is precisely what he has done, respectfully, by the book.He is not a whiner. -
Can we expect some trade movement within the next 10 days? Will Otis finally relent, drop his pride and let JJ go to one of the 8 teams that want him? Expect some sqawking soon from both sides of the fence?!! Kudos to JJ for keeping his head in the game and not falling to visible discouragement. He's a great 10th man! Thanks Stan for the fine coaching!
