Looks like our boys started out fast running the ball then has given out of gas. Maybe it's the altitude in Denver. Also, Mosley's every 2-minute substitutions have caused Denver to catch up. Edit: I don't understand Mosley's rotations. The players he had on the floor looked like they were playing backyard basketball. It's difficult to watch.

Oh, wow! I didn't know that, and I am sorry to hear of Aaron's long term injury. He was making a significant impact on the team (scoring-wise) with his new role.

+1 My "reaction" button doesn't work, so I had to write in a plus one. Hopefully Aaron Gordon doesn't go off on his former team.

Is that you, "MagicOne"? I've noticed you have become very conciliatory lately, hootie249--meaning "someone willing to end a disagreement, make concessions"--and not wanting further discussion. I remember you as a participant who have always added to a conversation, not wanting to end it. Also, you have added very good subjective and objective data to conversations. I know when I experience disappointment or get my feelings hurt about the outcome of an event that has taken place "I want to move on" to suppress my disappointment. I love you though hootie249. I always look forward to hearing your opinions--not about this topic though.

Amen to your last sentence, too, adding "boring".

Thanks for the replay on the video, orlandoholic. I saw that play during the game and it was hard for me to watch it again because I never liked Townes (not personally). It made my "blood boil" the way he walked away after shoving WCJ--the movements in his right shoulder as if he knocked WCJ down in a boxing match. Townes knew he got away with that foul. I'm with the rest of you all. The refereeing was atrocious. I remember several fouls called against the magic that were wrong. It was difficult to watch.

I know that the game is in Vegas. I've followed the schedule. But there are probably more Knicks fans there from New York and other parts of the the U.S.--not just from Vegas. Plus the fact that there are probably a lot of New York fans at the game in Vegas that are family oriented and spend more vacation time in Orlando and the theme parks near Disney. . .wouldn't you think?
-
The cheers and boos might be in New York's favor, but I bet a lot of those cheering for the Knicks spend a lot of money vacationing in the Magic Kingdom, plus warmer weather. :)

Thank you so much All Eyes On Me. Your words are comforting and means so much to me.

I didn't do the mime as to make fun of what All Eyes On Me as to what he said. I loved it, and I was laughing at the thought of it might be true. It made my day after all that I've been going through, personally, for the past month. I needed that. It helped to pick me up.

". . .you breathe on Shai and it's a guaranteed foul and depending on the direction of your breath it may be a flagrant."

What's funny (to me, that is), Bane started the season with such a calm, laid-back-style of play, as if it was a "wait-and-see" coming out on his new team. Then Mo got in his ear and told him, "Des, you were not brought here to be nice. You were brought here to add toughness to the team. That was my role until I got injured". :)

Remember, after preseason, I told you all how Desmond and Draymond got into a shoving match when the Warriors played the Grizzles last season, and how I didn't like Bane because he was nasty--and played with a bad attitude? In my opinion, this is one of the reasons he was brought to the Magic, to bring that mental toughness to the team along with his offense. Draymond Green and Desmond Bane Dap It Out After Heated Moment in Warriors-Grizzlies / Source: Sports Illustrated LOOK AT THE REF AND A COACH. THEY ARE NOT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION TO DRAY AND DES SHOVING EACH OTHER (LIKE WHAT KIDS DO BEHIND THEIR PARENTS' BACKS),,,hahaha!

Huh? Jay, stop it! That was not necessary!

I agree with all of this, especially the bolded part. I've been campaigning for Bane to be the ball handler for a while.
-
Yes, yes, and yes! Mini Soul Bro says. . . There was much better ball movement last night.

You have superstars on various teams, but you have to have ball movement. It's called "teamwork" no matter how much one player is a ball hog and want's their name in the spotlight. Just look at how Aaron Gordon is thriving on the Nuggets after being coached into being a very good role player.

Exactly! Some fans are questioning the amount paid for Bane to be traded to the Magic. Evidently, these persons did not watch Bane when he played for the Grizzlies. Desmond Bane's Stats 2024-2025 "In the 2024-2025 season, Desmond Bane averaged 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game. He shot 48.4% from the field and 39.2% from three-point range, playing 32.0 minutes per game. His stats include 1327 points and 369 assists for the season". Points: 19.2 Rebounds: 6.1 Assists: 5.3 Field Goal %: 48.4% 3-Point %: 39.2% Steals: 1.2 Blocks: 0.4 Minutes Per Game: 32.0 Turnovers: 2.4 2023-2024 "In the 2023-2024 season, Desmond Bane averaged 23.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game, playing in 42 games for the Memphis Grizzlies. His shooting percentages were 49.4% from the field and 40.8% from three-point range, with a high 88.2% from the free-throw line." I see what you are saying JJZFL. But since the coach is experimenting, I think Bane should be allowed to take a shot at it. Bane's position may not be officially as a point guard, but I think he could do better at that position than Suggs and other players that have played point guard. AB has even played point guard at times and it does not work. AB would dribble the ball over the half court line and then go stand in the corner. I use to see LeBron bring the ball up the court at times and was the ball handler after going over the half court line. My wish is that Bane is tried out as the starting point guard, and if it's successful, I want to gloat and say: "I told you so JJZFL". /just kidding

Early on, I believe it was as the preseason ended, there were participants on here that kept listing Suggs as the starting point guard for the 2025-2026 season. I kept saying,,,No,no,no! Suggs plays too reckless and out of control. Some may not agree with me, but I think Bane should be the ball handler/starting pg. Edit: From the point guard position Bane can help spread the floor because other teams will be focused on Franz and Paulo, allowing Bane to fire 3 pt shots. I know Bane can do it! #free Bane!---or whatever. :)

I didn't see the game involving the Bane incident. But for those who don't care to read my posts,,,hahaha! I posted a little while back my concerns that Bane was not producing on the Magic the way he did when he played for Memphis. He was one of the players that I detested. I believe it was in a game against the Warriors where he went "mano a mano" (face-to-face) confrontation with Draymond Greene. Bane was a very good 3 point shooter. I have not watched the replay of what Bane did in the game that caused him to be ejected(?). But in my opinion he was frustrated and that brought the Draymond Greene mentally out in him. Now, I'm not agreeing with whatever Bane did in the game that some of our posters and fans say was uncalled for, but we need a tough guy like Bane aka Draymond Greene. With better coaching, I believe Bane can return to the form that Bane played with the Grizzlies, when the Grizzlies was a top tier team in the NBA and Bane was the Grizzlies top 3 player. Edit: When Aaron Gordon first joined the Nuggets, I don't think he was scoring a lot of points or making a lot of 3's, but in a game I saw the other night, Gordon was on fire at the 3 pt line. Bane just needs to get his confidence back. He will be okay.
