This CP3 stuff has helped make the off season go quicker, but him coming to the Magic isnt gonna happen. Its a nice thought but I doubt NO trades him, at least right away. What we have now is what were gonna start the season with. So keep on playin' around with the trade machine, itll help pass the time. VC is gonna be in a Magic jersey on opening night.

C'mon, the city and owner overreacted. They are hurt and disappointed, but does that make it ok to act like children. I was here in '96 when Shaq bailed for LA, and as I recall there was no rioting, burning or jerseys or seething letters to the fans from the DeVos family. They were treated badly by being scorned on national TV, but how they reacted was a bit over the top.

I got that a TPE couldnt be used to sign a player but it could be used for a SnT with NY to preserve the MLE. Im sure NY wouldnt mind, and it doesnt mean Otis would have to use the MLE but it would allow the flexibility to use it if so needed. That was my point. The MLE isnt gonna expire Thurs nite like the TPE is, so its like not maximizing his options if he doesnt have something up his sleeve.

Maybe this should be on the Duhon thread, but unless Otis is gonna use the TPE for a trade, why wouldnt he use it on Duhon so he could keep the MLE intact for other players?
