Well, the biggest thing would be that the owners themselves decided to lock them out. They're not attempting to meet in the middle and are absolutely going to wait 'til the players go broke and come crawling back before they decide to "negotiate", all the while making the players seem greedy when they're the ones not willing to give anything up.

The owners are absolutely at fault for all of this. I don't understand how people can blame players.

Just because you want something doesn't mean you should get it, or that it's right. Wanting the league to end the lockout NOW without making any changes isn't just bad for business, but bad for fans that plan on watching the NBA for more than two to three years.

Yeah, I was going to post earlier but. . . bleh lot of talk about how they're really close and some believe we'll have a full season. While I still expect the season to start at around December, January, it'd sure be nice if it was earlier. Don't think they'd be able to resolve it before October but the rumors aren't as bad as they were a few months ago.

Serious question: would we ever be able to get an 18+, mostly everything goes sub-forum? Have it set up the same way the Mods forum are set up, make it only available to a "group", that group being people born at least 18 years ago (which should be easy to check under the control panel). . . I feel like I'm extremely underutilized and such a sub-forum would make this board a little more degenerate, so naturally better
