How about Patrick Ewing, Jr.?

Recommended Posts

According to the Houston Chronicle, he is moving from Sacramento to Houston in the Artest trade, where he will be released.

Reasons I think he might be a nice addition:

1. We need SF depth behind Hedo and Rashard.

2. After waiving Augustine, we have a spot for a young project.

3. His dad is an assistant coach.

4. With his energy and athleticism, he would be an instant crowd favorite.

5. He could be signed for the rookie minimum.

Thoughts?

Yeah I absolutely agree as well...I go to Villanova so I watched him in college a lot as Gtown is also in the Big East and always liked him (even though I hate Gtown). I would be 150% down to sign him.

yeah normally i'd be iffy on signing a guy just because his dad is around, but if you think about it, he'll get a different sort of yelling if he screws up, old jamacian father kind of yelling, that should keep anyone in line.

im fine with signing him for sf depth. its not like we need him to produce significantly. Plus we need to sign players for the minimum anyway

This is a message board. We don't have time to be dealing in facts.
