Lame excuse.

The game was over at the 6 minute mark. The Heat are without Shaq, Wade and Haslem and hardly resemble an NBA basketball team. They weren't going to turn a 20 point deficit into a game in 5 minutes. Just wasn't going to happen.

sorry but the game is not over till it is over...sorry your boy jj did not get to play..we won thats all that matters.

GO MAGIC!!!!

Hedo's made couple of those turn around and fade away shots. Should try it more againts shorter defenders. Crazy game winners aside, his 3P percentage is not so good.

Also, 6 TOs tonight. Whats the deal with guards bringing up the ball and immediately handing it over to Hedo? Must be SVG's decision.. But becoming predictable. SVG should try different combinations for the playoffs..

What's so funny? You disagree?

I disagree. Rashard even came out and said SVG is teaching them how to close out games. Do you think in the playoffs these guys won't be playing major minutes? And who are you to say these guys deserved to be taken out of the game? They only started to pull away in the 4th.

How can you possibly defend playing your starters, up by 20 points, with 6 minutes to go against a team that is made up of a bunch of has-beens and scrubs? If Dwight goes down with a torn ACL up by 20, with 6 minutes to go, he better have security on his way home, otherwise someone will murder him.

There is just absolutely no excuse to have them out on the court with that big of a lead and that little time left.

Jamison is one of two players in the East averaging 20/10, Butler is playing all universe right now, and Wallace's numbers are better across the board, and Wallace is also as good a defender as you find on the perimeter.

And while he's having a great year, Hedo is still shooting a bad percentage for the year, and plays no defense. And he turns the ball over too much.

Hedo is a clutch 4th quarter player who's averaging about 25 ppg or more lately. Able to hit a frigging turnaround 3 pointer to win you the game.

This is the clutch player we've needed all along. Did it in the Bulls game too with that running fadeaway shot to put them away.

27 10 and 5 tonight.

Jamison is averaging 21.4 and 10.6 for the year.

Butler is averaging 21.9 and 7, while also averaging 4.3 assists and 2.39 steals.

Wallace is averaging 21.4 and 6.2, while also averaging 3.7 assists, 2.23 steals and a block a game.

Hedo is averaging 19.3 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

So how is Hedo better statistically than any of those players?

Oh and as for the Drunk on Idiocy thing? You're my hero.

If they would have just benched 1 starter and brought in jj would we be having this talk?

GO MAGIC!!!!

Believe me, it was over.

I don't care if JJ doesn't get in, grab fans out of the stands and throw them in. Better than putting your starters' health at risk.

Closing out one game at the end of January against arguably the worst team in the NBA isn't going to teach many lessons about closing out games.

oh boy listening to this Van Gundy guy and just realized he's as dense as Brian The Redfaced Elf was.

Dumby is ok to take your starters out if your're up by 16 with 4 minutes to go. you're playing the worst team in the NBA with their top 3 players out...

Actually his 3pt percentage is better than his field goal, or close. Today, however, he was 8-13 from the field and 11-12 from the FT line. That's what has changed about him this year, he's started to penetrate, rather than lingering at the 3pt line. As a result, he goes to the FT line much more often, where he shoots at 80% I believe.

Hope you guys are defending Van Gundy the game that Dwight is still in, where the Magic are up by 20 with 3 minutes left and he comes down funny and tears his ACL trying to block an Earl Barron shot.

Happens a lot more often than you think.

Just not a smart idea.
