SECOND QUARTER

Tony Allen starts the second with a jumper but Lewis answers with a runner in the lane. Lewis, Turk, and Howard have combined for 19 of the Magic's 21 points thus far.

Eddie House strokes a jumper but Evans answers slashing to the basket dunking on a nice feed from Howard out of the post. The Magic trail 28-23 three minutes into the second period.

Mo buckets another easy basket to bring the Magic within three. Mo has been a great addition to this Magic squad and adds a nice change of pace with his slashing style of play.

Right on cue...Evans tips home a Turk miss to tie up the game at 30 halfway through the second quarter.

Dooling gives the Magic the lead flying past the Celtic defense for an easy two bringing the Amway crowd to their feet and forcing a Boston timeout.

Pierce scores six straight points for Boston and gives his team a 36-34 advantage with four minutes remaining in the second.

Howard throws down a dunk and a steal leads to an easy layin by Evans as the Magic tie up the ballgame at 38. Pierce answers back with his game-high 18th point scoring on a layup plus the foul. He makes the free-throw to put the Celtics ahead by three.

Pierce has taken over this game and he dishes Kendrick Perkins for an easy dunk giving the Celtics a 43-38 lead. Dooling finally gets a bucket for the Magic as he nails a jumper plus a foul. He converts the three-point play to bring the Magic within two as we head under a minute remaining in the first half.

Bogans ties the game with a short-range shot but Rondo closes out the half making good on a three-point play.

Halftime: Boston Celtics 46, Orlando Magic 43
