just got a PS3 and NBA live 08.I see there is a new roster update for the game. Any clue on how i can get this via the game/PS3. I can only seem to get it online(pc) to download then transfer. this isn't an option. any suggestions would be very helpful. thanks

i don't agree with everyhting you put on these boards ball junkie but am delighted to agree with you on this. I am a fan in the UK and have to stay up til 3.30 am every night to watch our games(as i will tonight) and if i lived anywhere near orlando i'd go to every game i could. i have just returned home after a holiday in orlando and i went to the cavs game a couple a week ago.I had really sold the game and bigged it up to my friends who are non basketball fans.Id said it would be a sell out with an electric atmosphere for a big game with playoff implications. Needless to say i was a little embarassed when there were empty seats and a flat crowd. It didn't help that larry hughes refused to miss and dwight wasn't up for it, but i was left explaining myself after forcing all five of my friends to by a jersey to support the magic. Why should it be so hard to get people intersted? We finally have the tem and the player and the coach we've been craving, so get behind them! they need you now more than ever guys! great post BJ

I'm a little skewed in my opinion since I was raised in the great basketball state of Kentucky. Even if your local team was 0-16 they still pack the gyms. Playoff time is nearing! We have a chance to make some noise this year!! Unlike the last 12 years or so. Do I like all of Otis's moves? You guys know I don't. We still have a young, exciting team that has the ability to win championships in the near future! You guys that were complaining about the location of the new arena? If it's gonna be built in downtown Orlando then let's support it not only monetarily but by putting actual bodies in the seats. That was my argument for moving the new arena to Orange County was the possibility of getting better attendance. This is football state? Football season is over and baseball season hasn't started unless you count spring training and all the steroid controversy surrounding it. This is the only sports fix around right now and the crucial part of the season is nearing. We have 14 home games left and we need to sell out Amway to support our guys and win all 14 of those games so if we get homecourt in the first round it'll be a big advantage. Tonight, not only do you get the excitement of NBA basketball but you get the benefit of a post-game concert. I go every year, with my wife of course. But I'll tell you, all you single guys that visit these boards if you don't have a seious girlfriend, you'll never see more pretty girls than you will tonight. You never know, if you come you could meet your future wife tonight! Let's support this team bodily and have the biggest homecourt advantage in the NBA going into the playoffs.
