(Not really too high on this one, but Armstrong has a load of potential.)

The First Trade Ideal is a Piece of Crap.

Please elaborate oh wise one. The Kings need depth at the PG position, plus they get rid of Kenny Thomas and his contract and add an expiring.

Pardon me for not elaborating.

Here we go.

Im sure the Kings would do it.

I'm not interested in a 30yr old, undersized PF(6'7), with a contract that pays him 7.8 million + a year over the next 3 years!!! Douby is a younger version of dooling and I believe we've already got a Surplus of marginal 2's. Thomas will be on the bench next year when Battie gets back making 7 million while he does. I'm not ready to give JJ and Dooling for an undersized PF, when I think our Expirings could bring more value closer to the Trade Deadline.

Don't you agree?

Even Isiah would laugh at this.

Why is everyone so bent on trading Carlos. We should have been thinking that way when we let Grant, Darko and Diener go for nothing. However, Carlos is a player we should not have to pay that much for, he brings revenue and he makes extra money in orlando. Something could be worked out. The last thing I want to see is Jameer to go on another slump come playoff time and we do not have another option.

This one is good to me

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?playe...19~19&te=&cash=20:19

Throw in a future-2009 first rounder as well for them.

Our team suddenly looks like this

Howard/ Foyle

Hedo/ Auggie

"Sweet Lou"/ Evans

Bogans/ Carney

Miller/ Nelson/ Arroyo

12th man = Gortat or Cook

IR list

IR list

Gortat or Cook

Why for Orlando???

Miller gives us an effective ball handler, playmaker and theif in the place of Dooling. Now we have three capable PG's.

Carney gives us a more athletic SG/SF player who is also a defensive presence on the perimeter and in the paint as a shot blocker. A proficient slasher with highlight reel potential and he has 3pt range IMO better than Redick at this point, though not near the shooter Redick is.

Why for Philly???

They get a more athletic PG and lock-down defender in Dooling who fits their style of play to a "T". They get rid of their 3rd Andre Iguodala (Iggy, Carney and Young) and obtain a better shooter than Korver in Redick. They get a European project in Rakovic and another 3 pt threat in Garrity and the cash to buy him out if necessary. They also get a future 1st rounder in 2009, stock piled with nice PG prospects.

If we need a big man (which we still do) we can make this trade as well. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?playe...14~19~9~19&te=&cash=

Troy Hudson is just a throw-in to make the trade work. He's injured and will most likely retire anyway so he wont hurt us...

Why for Orlando???

Brandan Wright gives us another Big Man project to potentially become Dwight's "Chris Bosh" sidekick. We get Chris Quinn as PG insurance to replace the loss of Arroyo.

Why for Miami???

They get their coveted man in Pietrus and now have a DANGEROUS backcourt and bench with Wade, Pietrus and Davis all at the 1,2 and 3... Cook, Williams and Dorell come off the bench as good backups at each position.

Why for Golden State???

They get two expirings and one legit PG backup in Arroyo for Baron Davis and a future 2nd rounder, while only giving up Wright who doesnt even play much for them.

Team now looks like this

PG:Miller, Nelson, Quinn

SG:Bogans, Carney

SF:Lewis, Evans

PF:Hedo, Wright, Auggie

C:Howard, Foyle

IR List

Gortat, Cook and Hudson (most likely for the rest of the season)

Good team huh??? lol
