I agree that was a very hard scene to watch, I also saw it coming but I think the film is brilliant because of the shocking scenes, like when the Matt Dillon (the cop) was "searching" the lady by the car, it was very uncomfortable! Love that film! I have that one on DVD and it is a great movie. One of the supporting actors in that movie, David Morse, is great in just about everything he is in. Talking about Spacey the usual suspects has to get a mention, still probably the best twist in movie history!! Also I like Denzel films. The Siege and Man on Fire were class!
