Magic and Suns Tied for 3rd Place

Recommended Posts

As of last night, the Orlando Magic and the Phoenix Suns are tied for 3rd place in the league.

1. Both teams have identical records (16-6).

2. The Magic and Suns have lost 2 in a row.

What's interesting is that last night the Magic lost to Atlanta, and Phoenix lost to Miami.

Records: Orlando (16-6) - Atlanta (10-10)

Records: Phoenix (16-6) - Miami (6-15)

Thanks for posting this. I think it gives us perspective that the sky really is not falling. As stated in many threads, I think people are panicing because of last years misfortune.

My honest opinion is that the Magic aren't third in the league, they're third in their conference.

I think the blistering start that the team got out to sort of blinded us as fans of how much this team needs to improve on. Come playoffs, I still would take Detroit and Boston over Orlando in a seven games series.

Sorry if that pisses some of you off, but it's the truth.
