Trade For KG!

Recommended Posts

The Magic should trade S&T Darko, Garrity(expiring contract), 2 future 1st round picks to Minnesota for Kevin Garnett. He has the option to opt out of his contract after next seaso. The T'Wolves might get some calls for him again this summer and with the Magic being one the teams under the cap, contracts do not have to match to get him.

You rather wait on Darko to reach his potential, than to have a ready now threat in KG? All I'm is we could win with KG now than Darko later!

its not so much giving up Darko, its the 1st round picks. and how many years will KG be around? No dought he would be great, its age, and we will have the ability to get younger players.

Actually, the formula is,

KG + D12 = Championship

KG + D12 - Brian Hill = First Round Sweep

KG + D12 - Brian Hill + GM that fires Brian Hill this summer = Championship

AS LONG AS WE KEEP BHILL,THERES NO LIGHT AT THE END ON THE TUNNEL.WITH BHILL,KG AND D12 ORLANDO SHOULD BE A BIGGER CONTENDER,BUT JUST THAT,A "CONTENDER". WITHOUT BHILL=CHAMPIONS.FORGET ABOUT VCARTER,JUST LET REDICK AND ARIZA PLAY MORE AND THATS IT.IMAGINE THAT,AT PG ARROYO,SG REDICK,SF ARIZA,PF KG AND C D12.SOUNDS INTERESTING.W JAMEER, BOGANS,DIENER AND TURK AS BOOSTS.

I still think a team like the Pistons, Spurs, Mavs, and possibly the Suns could beat this combination unless Redick is starter quality next year and we get a great passing pg.

Sheed,Webber, and McDyce would balance D12 and KG; Prince can defend JJ with his 7' wingspan; and the Magic would have no answer for Hamilton and Billups.

The Spurs would struggle a bit more, but They'd hit their outside shots and Parker would try to get our bigs in foul trouble.

The Mavs would be interesting match up. However, they are better coached and have better leadership on the floor unless our guys looked up to KG.

The Suns have Amare to clog the middle, with an outside threat we couldn't contain. If their shots are falling, we would be toast.

To make the Magic a championship team, we need a great passing pg, a consistant 3 point threat, and better perimeter defenders.

Trade JN and Turk (or put them in as bench players) and get a Deron Williams, a Chris Paul, Chauncy Billups, etc. and a Richard Hamilton, Manu, Paul Pierce, etc.

And most of all, get a new coach!

You should be able to find the caps locks button on the far left side of your keyboard on the 3rd row.
