Would you S&T Darko for Mike Miller; then sign Wallace?

Recommended Posts

No No No No!!!!! How can we even think of trading Darko ?? We are low on Centers and we think of signing another scorer??? The only way I approve if we can get a guy like Yao or Amare and that is imposible so no. Darko is still young and look at his stats .. hes getting better especially in D. So lets keep him and sign Gerald Wallace ... or we can sign Mo Williams and Pietrus the thing is keeping Darko!!

Sometimes it's not about the equal value you get back in a trade but about how and where the trade takes your team.

Trading Darko for MM gives us the needed shooter. And, IMO, Miller is better than Lewis at a cheaper cost. We'll still have the cap space to get Wallace. So, in the long run, it looks like we got someone better than Lewis and Gerald Wallace for Darko.

We'd have a very good shooter, very good defensive player, and our franchise all-star center.

You honestly think that Mike Miller and Gerald Wallace is a better combo to have on your team than Darko Milicic and Rashard Lewis?

We would have a very good shooter with Rashard Lewis, possibly playing along side the best shooter in the NCAA 2 years ago. I'd take that any day of the week over a shooter and a future Trevor Ariza.

You guys must not remember when Mike Miller last played with the Magic. Tmac was on the team at that time. But before Mike was traded, there was a season where he was sidelined alot with a foot or ankle injury. He and Pat Garrity were our 3 pt. specialists, and both of them started a decline in making those shots. I always felt that Garrity should have been traded before Mike. But both of them were loosing their touch with the 3 pt. shot.

No, I would not bring Miller back

Darko & Bogans for Mike Miller and Alexander Johnson

I'd only do this if we can also sign Gerald Wallace with our FA money.

We'd still have Arroyo and Garrity's expirings, Turk, and Bogans as trade bait to maybe S&T a big man FA. We, as a team and organization, would definitely be in a good position.

Jameer/Dooling/Arroyo or Diener

Miller/JJ/Ariza

Wallace/Ariza/Turk

Johnson/Battie/Augustine

Dwight/S&T FA/Gortat

Don't kill me on the depth chart; I didn't know what to do, lol. The possiblities are endless.

For Mike Miller - no way in hell - he sucks - he was way over rated here - Hell no.

So he's how old now....

And you'd want that over a talented 22 year old center??

FYI, Miller is younger than Lewis; has just as good a shot, and is a way better passer.

This "potential" homerism is getting out of hand.
