Would you S&T Darko for Mike Miller; then sign Wallace?

I'm not one to endorse Darko trades but this one caught my attention on another board.

 

Darko & Bogans for Mike Miller and Alexander Johnson

 

I'd only do this if we can also sign Gerald Wallace with our FA money.

 

We'd still have Arroyo and Garrity's expirings, Turk, and Bogans as trade bait to maybe S&T a big man FA. We, as a team and organization, would definitely be in a good position.

 

Jameer/Dooling/Arroyo or Diener

Miller/JJ/Ariza

Wallace/Ariza/Turk

Johnson/Battie/Augustine

Dwight/S&T FA/Gortat

 

Don't kill me on the depth chart; I didn't know what to do, lol. The possiblities are endless.

Never... we can do way better than that with a Sign and Trade of Darko.

 

We all fail to realize that Darko can be traded at any point with what ever contract we sign him too.

 

Which puts us in a better position to do some real damage....

 

How?

 

Well we sign Darko and hopefully a scorer.. VC or Wallace.....

 

Then depending on what happens with our PG situation and the Arenas situation could put us in a position to trade Darko for Arenas...

 

Darko's salary will come off the books and some other expiring contracts, just in time to sign Arenas to a long term contract.

 

But it doesnt have to be Arenas either, there are some big players that will be in the FA and some disgruntled ones that know their teams are not going anywhere.

I guess that means no more for me either?

 

I love Darko and think he's going to be good, but this is just another option to better all aspects of our team with his lone S&T transaction. Look how strong our bench would be!

As it's been said many times, getting Wallace in this team is one of those "foolish gold" ideas.

 

LiLPenny is not sure exactly what that means but it might have something to do with being silly and for Darko? absolutely idiotic.

Absolutely not! It would take ALOT more than Mike Miller to ship Darko out voluntarily.
