I’m done on Fultz. He may be a leader we need, but his injuries and lack of development with his jump shot, I have to cut bait.

Yeah, I agree. Cole is better at this point. I love Kelle, but the best ability is availability

I'm not sure I'm out on Fultz yet because to me we look a lot more flustered taking care of the ball when he's not in the game versus when he is.

But earlier I was playing around with the trade machine and Tyus Jones + Corey Kispert for Fultz and the Denver pick was something I lingered on and works salary wise. Magic get a low turnover, floor spacing PG (you'd probably have him as the backup and let Cole start) and a wing shooter who Washington might not want to extend next summer. Washington get assets for the rebuild without taking on any long term salary. Won't happen, fake trades never do, plus Washington might have no intention of trading Kispert, but it's the kind of trade I'd be intrigued by if it was out there (a trade where we possibly take a hit on defense at PG to add someone who might grease the offense a little more).

I agree he makes this offense run better, but his lack of shooting is a huge detriment to that offense. Combined with Suggs who also is not a great shooter. Two non shooting guards starting is not an effective enough offense consistently. And this league is all about scoring, so there’s that.

I just don’t think his skillset fits our starting 5. Paolo and Franz should be primary ballhandlers and distributors and we need a guy at the “1” who can stay on the floor and isn’t afraid to shoot a jump shot.

Long term I agree, but short term, which is what Fultz is (at present, provided we don't extend him or re-sign him to a long deal) neither Paolo or Franz has the ball security to be a primary ball handler I don't personally think.

We've started with a lot of energy as always. What Goga lacks in perimeter quickness he makes up for in size to bang down low with AD and be a nuisance in the paint. When the Lakers start putting him in screen and roll we'll see how he holds up.
