I mentioned that in another thread. I don't like it . . .by any player from any team (including the Magic)

It's all about the offense in todays game. Especially ever since a lot of these foreign players started coming over to play in the NBA. The game has gone much softer since then, Now you can't breathe on a guy otherwise you'll get rung up. I miss the days of smacking people around on defense. Oh well. It is what it is.

I don't really care about making the playoffs next season. I'd love to see Isaac get the touches that AG does, because Isaac is already a better driver and FT shooter. He's basically our best bet to become a superstar, and I'd love to see him get the reps.

He could even be a secondary ball handler, like Paul George is, but I don't think he should be anything less than the #2 option.

Shouldn't he earn that?

Yeah, like back in the day of the "bad-boy Pistons".

Or even the Knicks of the 90's under Pat Riley. Pat Riley would fine his players if they offered to help an opponent up off the floor. Back then there was no hugging before, during, or after games.

One could argue that he's starting to earn it, and we've seen years of Vuc-Fournier being featured to little success.

There are different philosophies regarding young players in the NBA, but I like to just throw them to the wolves and let them play through their mistakes like some of the famous rookies are doing this year.

Coaching and solid veterans around them might determine if they're successful or not

Scottie Pippen mentioned that the other day on First Take.

How do you come out and allow 5 consecutive baskets at the rim?

Looks like the phone call came in and they have been told to back off on the defensive intensity, I mean how else do you explain it. How can you go from playing so aggressively and then suddenly you're escorting them to the basket ?
