Man I really hope he comes back fully to what he was as a prospect. There's few guys in the league that would be better fits for what we want from our point guard position.

You got that right. I've never seen a point guard with arms like his (dont consider Harden a point guard) super long and that dude has FULL CONTROL OF HIS BODY like an acrobat and a dancer. His reverse layups are insane. I trust he'll return to form and thrive here in Orlando. I'll be so pumped his first game. A point guard on the magic with genuine upside, so lovely

So true. I saw a stat in some YouTube video about Markelle that was talking about his impact on the defensive end in the limited games he’s played. You’d probably be better equipped at pulling those type of stats but his defensive impact was significant. If worst case he’s a bigger more athletic Briscoe then we will be in really good shape moving forward. If he’s 80-85% of his former self he’s probably a multiple all-star. At 90% or better he could be an all-nba 1st or 2nd team guy. It’s crazy to think how good we could potentially be with close to ceiling level outcomes from Isaac, AG, Fultz, and Bamba. Like we honestly could be serious contenders in like 2-3 years. Add a guy like Garland or Porter Jr in this draft and we are set for the next 5-7 years

Fultz never even came close to projecting as an all-nba player or a generational type talent. At 100% he projected as a possible future all star. Let's be realistic.

Everyone called him a definite all star, franchise lead guard.

He was called "the best point guard prospect since Lillard in 2012 or Kyrie in 2011"

That's all NBA level ceiling

I still have a hard time calling Lillard or Kyrie all-nba talents simply because neither is an effective or consistent defender. They score and pass well. I guess it's simply because there are no really trancendent players at the position right now.

It shouldn't be that difficult. They've both been on all NBA teams. Therefore they're all NBA players.

I guess your right. Very few all-nba PG's in the last 30 years have been great at all aspects of their game.

Basically no star PG plays defense anymore

Nah. Curry is actually alright on defense.

Then there's Lowry, jrue, fox, Conley.

And a ton more non-stars

And I'd still very easily make that proclamation and if he reaches his ceiling hell be much better than Irving
