2018 NBA Draft Thread

With Isaac and AG being part of our future plans, we need a creator. I like the Malcolm Brogdons of the world, but I think we need a real transcendent guard, whether at the PG or SG. Ideally, we'd get prime T-Mac back

Hopefully we can get Doncic we our first pick. and Maybe we can trade next year first and Vuch for a top 10 first round pick this year and hopefully, select Young. Trade Mack for Dedmon in the offseason.

Young/DJ

Doncic/Ross

Isaac/Fournier(split minutes)

Gordon/Isaac

Birch/Dedmon/Biz

I doubt any team in the top ten takes that deal. The only team that isn't rebuilding is the Cavs as long as LeBron doesn't leave [again], but even if he does leave I think they'd rather keep their pick and start their rebuild with that player, and if LeBron does stay that young player could be important piece for them. I suppose the Bulls or Knicks might have interest in Fournier or Vucevic if they are selecting 8 and 9, but with them rebuilding I think they'd rather retain their pick as well and pick a young prospect rather than talent that will not move the needle for them.

If we can in this draft I'd like to solve the problem with lack of offensive initiator, if not than pretty much any big will immediately be better than Vuc at D. I'd just rest easier with an elite initiator

I actually think that the talent we are seeing in thi year second round is comparable to other years first round.

I am glad we have two top 2 rounders.

Alize johnson(incredible talent), Devonte(most likely our guy if we go with a big guy), Grayson Allen, kurucs(saw him play and similar skill sets as Mario but better), Sedekerkis( not sure why he is so low but really really good prospect out of lithuana)...

And I am just to naming a few.

This were guys were projected to be first round picks before the season started.

In other words... Payton really got us a first round pick talent.

Payton got us a shot at Carter, Brunson, and Grahm, all guys who will likely defend better and shoot the 3. THIS was the draft to be able to get such a return and feel confident about it. Thank you for bringing this up.

Do y’all think Anfernee Simons will go in the 1st round? If he’s available in the second we could take a swing on the hometown kid

We're going to get the 6th pick and draft Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. You heard it here first
