No to Dwight. He's a cancer. Biz will be a beast once the roster suits his strengths. We now have a team of athletes. Biz would contribute in helping us become a beast on defense. I still think he should start over Vuc. Vuc can score in the second unit.

This starting five you are proposing would be lucky to score ten points per quarter.

Look at the scores in the past NBA finals. Both Cleveland and Golden State are good defensive teams. Yet of the ten scores in the five games (five scores for the winning team and five scores for the losing team), only one was less than 113. Great defense is just not enough with the way teams can shoot 3's nowadays (most teams, not us). You have to be able to score to be competitive.

or just "We're a rebuilding team that's pushing for a spot in those fringe playoff teams. We have an opening for a 4 in a reserve role that's not part of the rotation but might see spot minutes if another guy is injured. You might spend most of the season on the inactive list. Is that something you're ok with?"

Isaac will be pushed by Gordon, Ross and Simmons. he doesn't need another 4 in the prime of his career kicking him out of the rotation entirely. he needs limited but consistent minutes.

That's not how competitive athletes think. They want to play. The kind of player who agrees to the above is merely content and probably wont add anything unique to the team.

I would easily trade Biz for Dwight and I hate Dwight.

Thank you. You can still hate him but realize he is loads better than Bis. Somehow that fact is being lost here

Yea, 31 year old Dwight is still a better player then Biz ever was or will be.

You keep basing this on general stats.

No one that's serious about winning likes playing with the guy. His team was better defensively when he was on the bench and his answer is to work on 3 pointers.

We don't need the last guy on the bench to bring something unique to the team. We need him to not ***** about his role. This isn't some crazy philosophy. Its how everyone builds rosters with the exception of great teams that have guys just willing to join something special.

Cleveland struggling on D was a recurring theme this year. They just ran into an injured Lowry and IT in the playoffs so it went away for a bit.

Ok but GS was the number two defensive team in the NBA and Cleveland still scored at least 113 in four of the five games. Doesn't change my point. Gotta be able to score in current NBA.

I think if we could be a top 5 defense we could be like the 25th best offense and still win 40 games.

But you're right. You can't start Payton- Simmons- Fournier - Gordon - vucevic or whatever and expect anything more than the worst offense in the league. And that is debilitating.
